Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience, including individual and business returns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations (individual and business).
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, offering clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and Block products.
• Provide IRS guidance and audit support as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive office environment.
