H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse, complex situations.

You will conduct in-depth client interviews, understand financial life changes, and provide personalized recommendations to maximize savings. In this role you’ll build trusted client relationships, explain tax concepts in plain language, and collaborate with a supportive team in a local office.

Qualifications

• Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with complex situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, then advise.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
