Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1+ year of tax preparation experience for individuals and businesses
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse tax situations (individuals and businesses)
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial life changes and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and build trusted client relationships
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
