Job summary

H&R Block, Ord, Nebraska, is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll conduct tax interviews, prepare complete and accurate returns, and provide IRS support with guidance from our expert team.

You’ll contribute to client growth and retention by offering additional products and services while mentoring teammates. A high school diploma or higher is required, and prior tax experience is preferred for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (notice services and audit representation where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to complete tax interviews using in-person or virtual tools.
• Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships as needed.
