Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training to help you be successful.

You will interview clients face-to-face and virtually, prepare complete and accurate tax returns, and generate growth by expanding services while mentoring teammates and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) is required
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and tax planning support is preferred
• Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where applicable
• Mentor and support teammates
