Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal role to serve clients with diverse tax needs and with support from an expert team. You will receive advanced tax training to be successful and build relationships for the long term.

Responsibilities include conducting tax interviews, preparing complete returns, and providing IRS support while seeking opportunities for business growth and client retention. A CPA/EA or related credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
