H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for a diverse client base. You will conduct in-depth client interviews, identify tax savings opportunities, and provide clear recommendations in a trusted, consultative manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations, including individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and implications, then provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
