Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields, including individual and business returns.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language and work in a client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes and provide recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance when needed.
• Collaborate with the team and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
