You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to assess financial changes, and offer personalized recommendations while building lasting relationships. You’ll receive comprehensive training, work in-person at a local tax office, and participate in an incentive plan tied to impact and performance.

Qualifications

• Must pass the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or enrollment/course completion.
• 1+ year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping; including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
