Qualifications

• Must complete the Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year of tax preparation or related experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must comply with continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and implications.
• Offer personalized tax-saving recommendations and connect with H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS notice support, audit guidance as needed.
