H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to interview clients and prepare accurate tax returns. You’ll focus on growing client relationships and cross-selling services, backed by an expert team and advanced training.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality tax support, virtual interview capability, and strong communication to ensure client confidence and retention during the tax season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is required.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
