Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Berwyn, IL seeks a Seasonal Tax Preparer – Customer-Focused Team Member to greet clients, gather information, and prepare accurate federal and state tax returns during the tax season.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or public-facing experience is valuable.
• Tax preparation experience is preferred, ideally two years or more.
• Successful completion of required training and a valid PTIN before filing returns.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and provide friendly, attentive service from first visit through return completion.
• Gather and review client information, prepare accurate federal and state tax returns, and explain results clearly.
• Assist with appointments, answer calls, follow up with clients, and help keep the office running smoothly.
