H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate in a local office. You will gather information, prepare returns, answer questions, and build client relationships with training and support from day one.

This is an in-person role with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to increase earnings as you grow tax knowledge. Required: completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course, strong customer service experience, clear communication, problem solving, and comfort with digital tools including

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
