Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns and provide personalized guidance in a local office setting. You will interview clients to understand finances and life changes, identify tax savings opportunities, and recommend H&R Block products to support clients’ goals.

You will use leading training and technology, work with a supportive team, and be rewarded with an incentive plan based on impact.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; explain tax concepts to clients.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience including individual and business returns.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications.
