Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations and prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses. You will conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials, provide personalized recommendations, and build trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
