H&R Block in Colorado is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex returns. You will interview clients, prepare complete individual and business tax returns, and provide clear, personalized recommendations.

You will build trusted relationships, identify tax savings opportunities, support with IRS notices, and collaborate with the team in a local office to maintain a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed
• Build trusted client relationships through empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment
