H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns for diverse client scenarios, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting relationships using strong training and technology.

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan. You will interview clients, provide personalized tax recommendations, and assist with IRS support and notices as needed, contributing to a collaborative office environment

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1+ year in tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financialsituations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to foster a client-focused office environment.
