You will help clients navigate complex tax situations with guidance from leading training and technology, in a local office setting. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and delivering empathetic, consultative service while adhering to IRS/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office
