Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; continuing education may be required by IRS/state.
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep experience with individual and business returns.
• Strong communication to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed.
