You will identify savings opportunities while delivering empathetic, consultative service in a supportive, in-office environment. The role emphasizes accurate returns, ongoing client relationships, and alignment with IRS/state requirements.

Qualificações

• Requires completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1+ year of experience in tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping including individual & business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations & tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team, share knowledge, and maintain client-focused environment
