H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Oregon (Junction City) to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses and conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.

You will build trusted client relationships, identify tax savings opportunities, and provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed. This in-person role offers training and technology to support growth within our office network.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields including individual and business returns
• Client-facing, consultative or advisory experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Aufgaben

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications—then provide clear, personalized recommendations
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed
• Collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment
