Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal Tax Professional to conduct client interviews (in person and virtually), prepare tax returns, and support growth and client retention.

You will work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to successfully assist diverse tax needs. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, plus 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where certified.
• Mentor and support teammates.
