Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide advanced tax training. Expect to conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and drive client growth under the guidance of an expert team.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging virtual tools and IRS knowledge to deliver accurate tax services and ongoing client support. Prior CPA/EA credentials and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
