This in-person role emphasizes building lasting client relationships, identifying tax savings opportunities, and delivering empathetic service. IRS support and team collaboration are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience including individual and business returns.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Strong client-facing, consultative communication skills.
• Must meet IRS/state requirements and have HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and offer HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office.
