Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience; includes individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications, offering clear recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products and services.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
