Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field, incl. individual and business returns.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Strong verbal and written communication; meet IRS/state requirements; education as stated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote HR Block products.
• Provide IRS notice guidance and audit support as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
