H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in the local office to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare accurate returns, interview clients, and offer personalized recommendations backed by industry-leading training and technology.

In this role, you’ll build lasting client relationships, identify tax savings opportunities, and provide IRS support as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and product recommendations.
• Provide IRS notice support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office.
