H&R Block seeks a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in the Albuquerque area to help clients with complex tax returns, including individuals and small businesses. You will interview clients, prepare returns, and offer personalized recommendations using industry-leading training and tools.

This in-person role emphasizes building trusted client relationships, identifying tax savings, and guiding clients through notices or audits when needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience
• Experience in a client-facing advisory role
• Strong communication skills; explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and implications
• Provide tax savings recommendations and promote H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
