You’ll operate in a client-focused office with training and technology support, in-person at a local H&R Block tax office. The role emphasizes trusted advisory service, strong communication, and staying compliant with IRS/state requirements while collaborating with the team to deliver top-notch client experiences at the Indianapolis Northeast

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• Tax Knowledge Assessment 1 completed

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Provide clear, personalized tax recommendations and identify savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and maintain a client-focused office environment
