Job summary

Liberty Tax is seeking an Office Supervisor to oversee a single Liberty Tax office during the busy season. You will lead staff, ensure compliance with procedures, and drive service quality while coordinating with Regional Leadership.

Responsibilities include office management, client service excellence, staff training, and reporting. The role requires PTIN eligibility and prior tax-prep experience. Evening/weekend hours may be required during peak season.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and tax preparation software.
• Must have PTIN or eligible to receive
• Minimum 3 years previous tax preparation experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Office Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring effective workflow and a professional environment.
• Customer Service: Ensure delivery of exceptional client service throughout the tax season; main contact for client concerns.
• Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements; monitor return preparation accuracy.
• Staff Leadership and Development: Lead recruitment/onboarding of seasonal staff; provide training and feedback.
• Marketing and Community Engagement: Execute local marketing strategies to promote office visibility and attract clients.
• Documentation and Reporting: Ensure completion and submission of daily operational reports; maintain documentation for client files and performance metrics.
