H&R Block in Yakima, WA is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to begin a career in tax and client services with on-the-job training and support from day one. You'll meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns, and explain tax concepts clearly while building strong client relationships and contributing to office priorities during tax season.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you grow tax knowledge.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
Problem-solving and ability to organize information.
Comfort using AI-based tools (Copilot, ChatGPT).
High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
