Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate in Minnesota to join our tax office in person. You will meet clients, gather information, and prepare returns with training from experienced teammates, while explaining tax concepts clearly.

No prior tax experience is required; you will earn hourly pay and can grow knowledge to increase earnings during peak periods. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving and ability to organize information to identify solutions.
• Comfort with AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
