Job summary

H&R Block, a leader in tax services, is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our local office in Maine. You’ll work directly with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions with training and support from day one.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate and have opportunities to grow as you build tax knowledge and client relationships through teamwork and a client-first approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-based software.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and assess their tax needs.
• Prepare tax returns with training and accuracy.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and advise on products.
• Build client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
