Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in person at a local H&R Block tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and ongoing support from experienced teammates.

You’ll learn to explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and recommend relevant products and services while building strong client relationships and contributing to office goals.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
