H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather tax information, prepare returns, and explain tax concepts clearly with support from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required as training is provided. The role offers an hourly wage with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain knowledge, and a flexible schedule including peak-period hours.

Qualifications

• Complete an HR Block Income Tax Course or equivalent.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain information clearly.
• Solid problem-solving to organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
