Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to meet clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with support from experienced teammates. You will explain tax concepts clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships. This is an in-person role at a local H&R Block office.

Must complete the Income Tax Course and have service-oriented experience. Hours vary, with potential to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication, asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving and organizing information
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based assistance

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
