H&R Block in Georgia is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns with training and support from experienced teammates, and explain tax information clearly.

This in-person role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to grow tax knowledge during peak season; ideal for customer-service oriented individuals willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication and question-asking to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills and ability to organize information
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in an easily understandable way
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend products/services
• Apply problem-solving to analyze client information and address questions with guidance
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork
