You will earn an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and grow in the role. This in-person position is based at a local H&R Block tax office, with availability during peak tax season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course required.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare tax returns with training and support from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address questions or unique situations.
