H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns with training from day one, and answer questions while building valuable client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required. You will learn to explain tax information clearly, identify tax savings opportunities, and collaborate with teammates to support office priorities while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsabilités

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
