Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Seasonal Tax Associate to join a local tax office in-person. You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns with training, and help clients understand tax options while building relationships.

No prior tax experience is required; training and support start on day one, with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain knowledge. Flexible evenings/weekends during peak season.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills with ability to organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
