H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather tax information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. You will explain tax concepts clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships in a local office.

No prior tax experience is required as training is provided; compensation is hourly and competitive, with opportunities to grow tax knowledge during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
