Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an in-person seasonal Tax Associate to help clients gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions at a local tax office. No prior tax experience is required, as training and support start on day one.

You will meet with clients to understand their tax situation, prepare returns, explain tax information, and identify potential savings opportunities while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication; explain information clearly
• Problem solving; organize information and find solutions
• Comfort using digital tools, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
