H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. No prior tax experience required; you will receive training and support from day one as you learn to gather information, prepare returns, and answer client questions.

You'll meet with clients, explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships while supporting office priorities through teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience in customer or client service.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
