You’ll receive training from day one, earn a competitive hourly rate, and have opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows; evening/weekend shifts during peak season may be required.

Qualifications

• Completed the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication and question-asking to understand needs
• Problem-solving and organizing information to identify solutions
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based systems like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and offer relevant products/services
• Apply problem-solving skills to address questions or unique situations
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork
