H&R Block in Wisconsin is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our in-person tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare complete tax returns with training and support, and answer questions while building client relationships.

No prior tax experience required; you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to grow as you build tax knowledge. Evening and weekend availability during tax season is helpful; this role offers flexible hours, up to 40 hours per week

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using digital tools, including AI-based assistants.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
