You don’t need prior tax experience; we provide training and resources, and you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate. This role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, with opportunities to grow knowledge and earnings during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in an understandable way
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
