H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Ridgeland, MS. You will meet with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions while building client relationships and applying training from day one.

No prior tax experience is required, as you’ll receive training and support to learn quickly, with opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows and performance improves.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service-oriented environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain information clearly.
• Ability to gather information and understand tax scenarios.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand tax situations.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products/services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and resources.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and client-first approach.
