Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal Tax Associate to assist clients with tax preparation and questions at a local Lewiston, Idaho office. You will receive training and work directly with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions, building valuable client relationships in person.

You will meet with clients, identify tax savings opportunities, and explain information clearly while collaborating with teammates. Some evening/weekend shifts may be required during tax season.

Qualifications

• Completed H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and explaining information clearly.
• Problem-solving and organizing information.
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products/services.
