H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns, and provide clear tax explanations with training from experienced teammates.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent training.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem solving and ability to organize information and find solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide client-friendly recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address questions and unique situations with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
