H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll gather client information, prepare returns with coaching, and explain tax details clearly. Training and support are provided from day one, with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and client relationships.

The role emphasizes client service, teamwork, and a client-first approach, with flexible hours during peak periods and the chance to grow within a trusted tax community.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
